Full-Day Kindergarten Program!Our full-day kindergarten program strengthens intellectual and social development of our students through exciting lessons and activities, led by our kindergarten teacher, Miss Patinella, an Eastern Illinois University graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. Miss Patinella has been teaching for a total of 6 years, with 5 years being in kindergarten.
With our full-day kindergarten program, longer days allow more time to focus on core subjects such as reading, writing and math, providing structure and preparing students for elementary school by fostering academic excellence and a love of learning!
Our kindergarten curriculum includes:
Literacy centers
Differentiated reading groups
Superkids Reading Program
Daily Religion lessons
Mass every Thursday
Weekly art, technology, P.E., library and music
Math - positions, shapes, sorting, recognition, addition/subtracting, graphing, time and money
