  • Montini Virtue of the Month

    A  journey to sainthood

    August/September: FAITH

Romans 1:17 For in it is revealed the righteousness of God from faith to faith; as it is written, “The one who is righteous by faith will live.”

CCC 1814 Faith is the theological virtue by which we believe in God and believe all that he has said and revealed to us, and that Holy Church proposes for our belief, because he is truth itself. By faith "man freely commits his entire self to God." For this reason the believer seeks to know and do God's will. "The righteous shall live by faith." Living faith "work[s] through charity."

FAMILY SERVICE/PRAYER OPPORTUNITY: Work together at home to create a prayer table or prayer corner and take a picture of your family using this prayer space to send to school for our FAITH display

SCHOOL: Classroom Saint chosen and their life is learned about

Saint of the Month: Saint John the Baptist
Question to think about: Who was St. John the Baptist?
